Mission Statement: Helping Honduras Kids' mission is to improve the lives of orphaned, abandoned, abused and/or neglected children on the North Coast of Honduras.
Core Values
1. HHK believes that opportunity, education, hope and love are what children need to break the cycle of poverty and abuse.
2. HHK will foster an environment of love through expressing daily confidence building statements to each child, so they can succeed.
3. HHK will help provide a safe “home-like” environment for orphaned children to live in, so they can feel secure as they grow and develop.
4. HHK will provide the necessary educational environment to enhance learning to help give disadvantaged children the tools to become contributing members of society.
5. HHK will provide the necessary medical care through donations for HHK children so they can become healthy and strong.
6. HHK will participate in worthwhile community programs that will benefit and improve the lives of children and people in the community.
7. HHK values partnerships.
8. HHK values community projects and helping the community.
9. HHK values a volunteer organization and appreciates the many people that devote countless hours to helping “our” children.
10. HHK believes that a loved, educated and happy child in Honduras has a real chance to succeed!
